Lawn Care: How to make a beautiful lawn in one day

Lawn care is an ongoing, permanent process. Time is a very scarce resource nowadays. We don’t have time to wait for things to happen naturally, nor do we have the time required for proper lawn care. If you have a courtyard, then you know how much time and work you need in order to grow a very nice lawn on it. This is how to make it faster:

Step 1: measure the area you want to cover with grass
Step 2: buy some ready-made grass and earth “carpets” which I was told that are called sods.

Step 3: make sure the future lawn surface is flat
Step 4: cover the ground with the grass carpets (I know now that the name is sod, but I still like to refer to them as carpets of green grass)

Step 5: step on them to make them uniform and to help them adhere to the soil

Step 6: wet the lawn. In a few days, it will look like the naturally grown ones.
You can cut the lawn pieces in round shape from place to place, and you can plant some flowers in the obtained circles. The effect is guaranteed. You can even organize a vegetable garden with some nice grass around, don’t you think so? Laying sod helps a big deal with lawn care.

1. Dirty shirt collars can be cleaned easily if before putting the shirt in the washing machine, you rub the collar with a sponge soaked in dishwashing detergent.
2. Using half of the recommended dose of detergent in automatic washing machines has the same effect on the clothes as using the full quantity, if clothes are not extremely dirty.
3. Small scratches on glass can be removed using toothpaste
4. Silver jewellery also gets clean if rubbed with a toothbrush and toothpaste
5. Spraying furniture polish on the dust mop makes it easier to collect the dust
6. If you have hard to clean ashtrays, you can spray a little bit of furniture polish on them. This will make ashes not stick and dump easily
7. Wax spots on carpets can be removed by placing some thin paper above them and then ironing the paper surface. The wax will stick to the paper.
8. In case of naughty pets, you can get rid of urine stains by using some diluted dishwashing detergent.
9. Mildew in bathrooms goes away by using a solution of bleach and water (1 cup chlorine bleach to 5 cups hot water). Bleach not only cleans, but also disinfects.
10. Combs and hair brushes can be very well cleaned with shampoo, by soaking them, then scrubbing until clean.
